PPWR - Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, (EU) 2025/40) sets binding EU-wide standards for the manufacturing, recyclability, and reduction of packaging waste. Additional requirements of the regulation take effect on 12 August 2026, affecting how packaging is labelled and certified across the European market.
Labelling Requirement
As of 12 August 2026, packaging placed on the European market for the first time must carry a producer label in accordance with Article 15(5) and (6) of the PPWR. To meet this requirement, our packaging is fitted with a QR code that provides access to all mandatory information.
Conformity Assessement
From the same date, producers are required to issue an EU declaration of conformity for their packaging. You can download the relevant documentation for our packaging materials below.
