The PPWR 2026
On 12 August 2026, additional requirements of the EU Packaging Regulation PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, (EU) 2025/40) come into effect.
It sets binding EU-wide standards for the manufacture, recyclability, and reduction of packaging waste.
We'd like to briefly outline what this means in practice and how we're handling it on your behalf.
Labelling requirement
From 12 August 2026, packaging placed on the European market for the first time must carry a producer label in accordance with Article 15, paragraphs 5 and 6 of the PPWR. From that date, our packages will therefore be fitted with a QR code through which all required information can be accessed.
Conformity assessment
From 12 August 2026, producers must issue an EU declaration of conformity for their packaging.The relevant document for the packaging we use will be available on request from mid-August.

Registering other persons or filling out forms for other persons is not allowed, for which the user guarantees with full indemnity liability and assumes passive legitimation in case of disputes.
